COD MW3 does not work on windows 10!!

i just updated my computer to windows 10 and the game does not even attempt to start when i open it. literary nothing happens; other than "the game did not quit properly last time..." i don't get any message from the game nor steam. i do sometimes get a message from windows to report on failure to start the game...

Upgrade to a Windows that is still in development is a very bad idea for Stuff like gaming.

You can try to run the game in "Compatibility Mode" if this doesn't work, there is no way but to downgrade to your latest Windows that is working with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Because Windows 10 is using a newer Version of DirectX which is not supported by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

It works fine on 10, you just have to use 8.1 driver, not default 10, which is incompatibile.
I have used 8.1 drivers from 2014 to get it working on my laptop, the newest have failed.

do you mind elavorating a bit more pls... i dont get what you say by drivers? do you mean directX?

AMD or NVIDIA. Windows default do not work properly, but Windows Updates forces them, so you have to disable Windows Updates, then uninstall a display driver and install drivers for 8.1.
