Installation problem

I brought COD:MW3 4 days ago with CD, not from steam. 30 minutes ago, I started install it. I did every thing in instructions. Entered key code, selected the destination folder.. But it takes longer than normal installation. I am waiting since 30 minutes ago but its the same, 0 mb. Should I install it from steam? Not from the disc?

Damaged CD probably? Download it from steam, if you have a good internet.

no its not damaged i thinks it was some bug. Now I installed the game. But I have a question, I installed it and tried to run, it says multiplayer needs to be updated. It started to update but its like a game, 14 GB. Should I try to reinstall it? Call of duty singleplayer looks installed but multiplayer isnt.

There is probably multiplayer setup as well on CD, try to run it.

i couldn't find it. It just setup and the other files. Where can I find it?

@Throneofgame i was facing the same issue stuck at 0 MB :( the disc has been lying on my desk for weeks. I couldn't install the game from the disc. And i can't download the game from steam either because of my slow internet and bandwidth limit. Can you please tell me how did you get the installation working?

Unfortunately I had to download 14GB :S I think there must be a way to fix it, but i didnt find it
