Steam Proton / Steam play
Did anyone managed to make this game work on Steam Proton/Play ? I can make Modern Warfare 1 but for some reason Neither Modern Warfare 2 or 3 work on steam proton.

Any help is apreciated.

It works fine for me. It may have been updated recently. When was the last time you tried?

What version of steam play are you guys using? I am on 3-16.4 beta, but i tried with the other versions as well, no luck. I have an amd card

If anyone can get it to run successfully it would be worth filing a report on protondb. I cannot get this game to work at the moment.

Do you have a direct link or something like that for your report? Looking at the reports for this game the last one was negative was 2 weeks ago which doesn't match up with when you updated this thread to say you submitted a report.

I submitted it here, gave it a bronze. "Runs in a constant laggy state and stutters (In game). Menu most of the time is all normal."

Was it the multiplayer that you tested or the single player?

Actually didn't think to test single player. I will do that too. I just tested multiplayer.

https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/1265 I've posted a how-to make the single player mode works , it's a bit hackish but at least I get it to work and the performance are acceptable

Thnx for the info. Maybe some people can use this. But I will not mark you reply as an correct answer since it is not proton. But thnx for the info, maybe somebody can use this :beatmeat:
