Don't forget to check the asteroid belt way out past the moon, there are a couple hiding there!

And the Aviator glider boost is well worth the effort. If you ask me, his adorable flying hat and little propellor are worth it alone, but that might just be me :)

It's not just you (biased though you may be :) ). Looking forware to getting that one.

It's amazing how much charm there's always been in BUD, considering his simplicity, but the new skins add so much to the character. Which is why we're all gutted that we're not being offered the full range of skins on PC!

Aviator is, but some of the best ones, Cat and Astronaut for example, are not.

I don't get Ubisoft sometimes. They clearly don't want to spend money on advertising for Grow Up and want it to propagate by word of mouth, but they're missing opportunities for easy headlines in the games press here. Put out a press release to say that all DLC is getting balanced across platforms for this game, and that's a reason to write about it and another reason for us to say good things about it to people we know.

Whereas keeping the skins exclusive does... what, exactly? It's not encouraging sales, since nobody knew that skins were exclusive until after they'd bought the game, the UPlay Store doesn't even sell the Grow games on PC, and it's just not the kind of game where people are making decisions based on this info that are lucrative in any way for the company. Bizarre.

the normal suits do all have their own abilities. though the bug one and nocturnal are a fair bit useless... i still want all the other skins though :(

nocturnal's whole thing is just the brighter eyes. though i will say it has my favorite glider and ball lol. i do like the flower pot too... and yeah, the air brakes are vital for precision drops. i'm surpised you haven't activated it by accident before since it's the same key as the glider.

Hey gang! All skins have abilities:

BUG - critter magnet. Silly but fun.
BUD-tanical - grow Floradex 3000 plants twice as big. Great for growing your way to the moon!
Ninja - returning from Grow Home, ninja has a massive jump.
Nocturnal - makes it always night time. Useful for spotting crystals, and it's fun to chase the sun!
Aviator - massive glider boost increase for super powered flying.

Sorry there's no Cat or Astronaut in the PC game, but if you was invulnerability then switch to ball mode, and if you want to jump high then Ninja is there for you. Enjoy!

yup that's all it is. also, i didn't realize nocturnal did that! that's a lot cooler and more helpful than i thought. and would also explain the random times when the suns do quick laps around the planet lol! logically speaking, that's an increadibly powerful peice of tech though o_o

Pro tip for sun chasing fun - try it on the poles where the sun has nowhere to hide :)
