My game won't run

I'm running a brand new gaming computer. I have windows 8.1, and this game will not load. I try to run it, from both my desk top and from steam directly and nothing happens. All of my other games work no problem so I don't know whats going on. I verified the files and the same thing happen. Please help me

There are apparently some issues if you are running an AMD GPU (gotta reinstall PhysX). Else, you could always try running as Admin and in compatibility mode.

I reinstalled physx, didnt change anything on this end.

i use an amd gpu and i installed physX and reboot my pc and it works now

I had the same problem - eventually downloaded the latest Physx drivers and it works fine now - weird.

instal windows 8.1 64 and you dont have any problem you cane run the game

I have exactly the same problem but I do not even run an AMD... I have Windows 7 and all my drivers are up to date. What can I do?

edit: As I said, my drivers were up to date. However, reinstalling PhysX worked for me as well.

Same problem here. Brand new computer, 4th Gen i5, Intel HD 4600 graphics card.... I bought this and Timeshift. Apparently Steam sells games that won't actually play. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ><

Physx version from game's "redist" directory did the trick for me.
