Game no longer launch since Windows 10

Since I installed Windows 10, the game just wont launch. It says preparing to launch, than nothing. Will there be a patch or something?

its going to be some time before games are all patched and the bugs are ironed of win10. if you had win7 i would not get rid of it just yet(you'll have to rip my copy from my cold dead hands) install win10 on a secondary drive or as a secondary OS.theres a whole lot more of this to come.

i must be one of the lucky ones then, i had W7 SP1, got me W10pro, and no problems.

I had the same problem. I found the game exe file in steamapps/common/singularity/binaries and selected the "Run as adminstrator" compatibility option for it. The game runs now.

I'm really bored because I used to love this game so much ! :/
And running as administrator didnt work for me btw :/

Thank you! Running Win10Enterprise x64, set run as admin & Win 7 compatability has it working.

Same issue, game won't run on windows10. Tried rabidlamb's solution, but just got some (to me) weird message...Wait for patch or try for refund?

Switching compatibility to winxp sp3 works for me for some weirdo reason. 7 or 8 doesn't. Well at least it's running I guess.

That sucks, man... But I stronly suggest waiting for a solution, because it's a spectacular game.

WinXP SP3 compatibility mode worked for me on Win10 64-bit, too--good tip, the1free_man.
