PC or PS3
Before you give any answers please know that I already know PC is pretty much always going to have the superior version.

My question though is it the PC version REALLY that superior where the price tag on Steam is worth it considering a PS3 copy goes for $3 without a sale price.

PS3 you can get for cheaper, and there is no multiplayer nor mods on PC. You're better off with the PS3 version.

prices aside PC is always better. Id buy it on PC on discount. super duper ultra buttery smooth animation vs 30 fps console framerate cr@p... im sorry, cap ;). also higher resolution is a nice addition. id say pc is beter experiance that way. fov, in case you wonder, is adjustable on pc through Falwless Widescreen program.

I already bought it for PS3 since it was like $3. When it comes in I'll give it a quick run to see how it plays. If I'm not too impressed than I might buy it for PC but we'll see.

I dont understand why this game is so expensive when I clearly bought this during a sale here on Steam a year or so ago for $4.99 if I'm not mistaking.

A system glitch, perhaps? Either that or an Activision "glitch" :P

I have the ps3 version in my collection, and I highly reccomend getting that one over the Pc version which I bought retail from a bin at walmart for about 9.99 thinking there would be tons of graphical upgrades but as far as I could tell the Ps3 version was just about the same and much easier to just pop in and play with a controller.
