I don't know if that is old news and just not updated, and if activision got their hands on the game or not, if anyone knows if the game is owned now by activision.. let me know.
Halo also changed as it had a moonwalk feel to the running, the player characters look different with the armor, and the controls were converted to the xbox console controls, which turns slow.
On the pc version, you could see during testing, a player would crouch with the rocket launcher and fire into the distance over a hill, but the character would turn a little with the upper body, knees, and the rocket launcher, to show off some new technologies, gameplay, and graphics. There was alot of other stuff in the pc video previews as well, such as capture the flag. But the music was overwhelming when I was a teen, and it was going to be the next step for me in gaming on the pc, after unreal tournament. I was not happy when I found out it was being converted to the xbox for microsoft, alot of people weren't happy about it, the popularity of the game dropped in half, but that didn't keep alot of people from buying the game and first xbox in 2001.
I don't believe in any way that it is a mac, as microsoft has always been windows, they were the developers of.. "Microsoft Windows" after all. That and mac/apple are not related to microsoft at all.
Also, Directx 12 just came out this year in 2014 on the xbox consoles. And Directx is a windows program for enhancing windows itself, always has been.
Now it's possible a mac developer might have been working with microsoft to make the xbox one, but other than that, the xbox from 2001 was not a mac, unless you mean the latest xbox, but even so, it has Directx 12 on it, which has nothing to do with a mac at all, and I would never want a mac, the idea of limitation to what you can do and the frustrations of a mac with little that can be done to fix issues, as well as the limitations all around.. meaning only what you can see is what you get in the user interface, is not my idea of a computer, I'm more of a windows user, although I don't agree with windows 8 because of the start menu, other than that, I've always been a fan of windows since after all.. I was using dos, windows 3.1, windows 95 and especially windows 98 for a very long time, I'm used to the classic start menu, not some tablet thrown in your face fullscreen scrolling apps BS like windows 8 offers, although if there is a theme to make it more like windows 7, that I wouldn't mind.
Windows 8 also has compatibility issues with games, but each pc can be different for every windows user, although sometimes you will see some get the same issue on windows 8, the best gaming pc you can get is a windows 7 home premium 64 bit system, because most have win 7 home premium as it's more affordable than ultimate, but alot of apps and games were designed around it as well.
Windows 9 will at first like any other windows OS, it will have bug issues, but I do feel it will be possibly more compatible and stable than windows 8, there's no telling for sure though.
Really old thread to bump. =P
why not it's good point
