How to get it working.

So the game won't go past the loading splash screen for you? Well, Ignore all the useless tips saying to use compatibility mode, or run as administrator, disabling the intro videos, or any other nonsense.

The problem is PhysX.

Go to "Control panel->Uninstall a Program" and uninstall your current version of PhysX. Then go to ".....\steamapps\common\Transformers War for Cybertron\redist" and install the PhysX version supplied with the game. Profit.

Note: You can reinstall the latest version of PhysX (http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx-9.14.0702-driver.html) ontop of this and the game will still work.

Summary:
The game works off of components from an older version of PhysX that the new versions of PhysX don't install. The real issue here is that the installer of the older versions of PhysX won't let you install it's components while you have a newer version installed. So you have to first get rid of your newer version, install the old version, then reinstall the newer version ontop of it.

Some people have no problems because they already had the older physx components installed. But if you've reformatted recently or have a system newer than the game you probably won't have them.

Just because it looks difficult to you, doesn't mean it's difficult to anyone else. I'm sorry you fried your braincells, but the way I have done it is the proper way, I'm good with computers and so I know what I'm talking about. It doesn't get any easier then the steps I provided.

How can one be thick in the head if they have taken steps and know how it is done without causing headaches? I think you are talking to yourself.

My steps walked people through simple processes, this "numerous" bit that you talk about is very little, so very simple, and right to the point.

Telling people false information. You don't know why it works that way either.
Way to show ignorance about the PhysX app.

There are multple ways that people can get their games to work since there are different methods taken, usually that's because everyone has a different computer and thinks their solution is going to solve everything for everyone, such arrogance.

Also, I have linked both the necessary installation of the latest official version, and the latest PhysX Legacy versions, so that people can easily install without having to manually go to their folder and place possible chances of spyware that you have provided.

If something so simple as my steps, would be too hard for you, then I suggest you don't use computers at all and don't play video games on them.

First of all, you're going to force me to jump into details about the fact that you started out talking about one file, and then jumped to the installer that I already mentioned in my first comment to you on the other page. You try to change the subject and lie, jumping from one thing to the other, just to try and prove a point and it clearly shows that you don't know what you're talking about. Just go back and read what is on the other page, and anyone else reading this as well. If you say any more about the file or about the installer, you are just proving more of my point.

You then jump to the telling me and others that you don't need the PhysX.dll that you found in the first place, and then you moved right on to the installation in the game's folder, which you changed the subject about. I've been through every single Windows version and helped millions around the world, even online through remote assistance since I was little and offline, for more than 25 years. Considering you make arrogant statements that are easily the same as any other user that acts incompetent in the Steam forums with typical and repetitive solutions that are obsurd and brutal, and the fact that I've already explained that in the long run, it gives more headaches than not, I would say you have no common sense what so ever, and you're not the first I've had to deal with.

By your method, that would mean you would take a broken bicycle without wheels or handles to get there, or put on shoes that have nothing on the bottom while at the same time.. walking next door without knowing what the shoes are for.
And btw.. not everyone lives close to each other, and so trying to make it out as if the same method will work for everything, just proved my point even more about typical comments for solutions from arrogant people who think they know what they're talking about and just blowing hot air.

I find it ironic that you try to make something out of my methods with an attempt at wisdom or logic, yet you don't know the first thing about being wise or logical in a statement of an opinion that you made based upon your own ignorance to my methods.

You failed to have many of these features by not having good judgement in your past comments, not acting mature in your replies and being disrespectful, not having insight on my actual solutions shows how simple your mind works, not having common sense with the headache and other issues that can apply with the typical methods you mentioned in your comments, and not understanding so... you burned yourself.
If you actually were logical and wise, you would have understood my solutions as the best possible way without the headaches and nonsense of a typical generic method, you just made yourself look bad.
Once again, if my solutions were different and not the best, then you have serious issues and you have already proven that, so be sure to seek professional help.

I would be nervous of someone that ignorant and arrogant trying to build a PC for me, ignoring half of what I said and only replying to one specific thing, doesn't make your comment mean anything other than petty, tacky, and nonsense.
I've met many people that build computers and they only know so much, most people turn to me for help, I was also mentioned and made my own ISP nervous because they got worse of how good I am, and I got hired by them in 2007, though the recession hit and I've since they done other things, people know who they can turn to.
You talk about someone else having a high horse, yet your ego is fueled even more so by your arrogance combined with someone else having a comment. I suggest hypocrite, that you should look in the mirror. But oh no! that would be terrible to notice such a thing and be wrong wouldn't it?

Btw once again, you can't even spell properly in several of your comments, I am totally wasting my time even bothering to read your comments, I took the time a long time ago to improve myself, I'm not that good at it, but at least I bother to try and improve. Anything I have commented already on about, on this and the page before, will answer anything you say now and have said. I don't need to say anything further, and anyone else reading can easily go back a page or 2 and read the discussion the past 1 or 2 pages as of March of this year, and if you're going to be ignorant and keep making excuses, then you're only making yourself look bad and digging it deeper.

Also... if you hadn't noticed, I have a guide on how to fix most issues with games.. that has been around for quite some time now.. before Windows 10, and should work with Windows 10 for some of the issues also, be sure to read the comments in the guide on what I mentioned, and there really wasn't any reason for you to try and bring up your solutions obviously, so stop with the nonsense and trying to nitpick just to make excuses.

I Installed the game a second time using my method on another machine to make sure that my solution worked and GUESS what ...it worked -_-
