I do have a guide here on the forum, the thread I made, leads to it if you click on the picture "fix" under the thread's title, or the top of this forum you can click on "Guides".
One thing that usually crashes alot of players on this game, would be old physx, uninstall the old one, find the new physx and download it from nvidia.com.
You might have also set some of the game's .exe file compatibility settings, if you right clicked on it and went to its properties to the compatibility tab before.
If you also removed all of the game's folder by manually deleting it after an uninstall, this would be a good idea as well.
Try to think of what else you have done recently that could cause it, even days before.
Also give some detailed info on what it shows and your system specs, you can copy and paste them by going to the top of steam and clicking on help, and then go to system information, no need to copy and paste the programs at the bottom, but list everything else so that others can assist you here.
My guide shows you.

Does your video card have enough video memory as well as the rest of your hardware?
Also are you on a mac or pc?
What's your hardware? Go to the top of steam, click help and then click "system information".
Drag your mouse acrossed it, outline all of it all the way down, right click on the outlined text, click copy, then in a new comment, click paste.
Also remove any old version of physx, if you reinstalled it with the old one, and then after removing any old version, and manually deleting the physx folder after that for whatever is left in it, then install the new physx, and all drivers as well need the same thing done, download and install the latest official drivers for all your hardware, and use my guide to get the rest of the .net framework files, as well as all the visual c++ redist files.
Uninstall your old visual c++ redist files, and then reinstall them, as the one in your game's folder could be corrupt, or the one installed could be as well, for where it was installed.
