FPS Unlocker Marked as Malware

Hello all, trying to get the game to run at an uncapped FPS, however both FPS unlockers I've found online (found via Steam Guides and PCGamingWiki) are flagged as malware. Are these both false positives, or are they actually malware?

And if they are malware, are there any alternative ways to unlocking FPS?

There has actually been a lot of talk on this. Most people continue to use them however I am pretty sure at least one of them was confirmed to be suspicious in the past

Pretty sure I remember someone looking into it and it sends an email somewhere. What info it sends or if that email address is still in use years later is unknown.

Worth noting that many of us have been using it for years.

I think it's a false positive, for both tools. If it really would be malware, i doubt PCGW would list it as a solution. I think the reason it gets marked as malware, is because it memory edits the game exe, to change the FOV and FPS, and i think trainers in general get marked as malware, even if they are not, because again, they memory edit the game. I recently started playing the game and have used it every time, and nothing unusual has happened afterwards, so in my eyes, it is safe to use, and is not malware.
