-Run in Windows XP compatibility mode, and as administrator
-Go to the folder named Redist in your game directory and run the PhysX application inside.
I also remember a fix involving pasting an entire folder (I think binaries?) somewhere else but I don't remember enough to be helpful.
You may want to relocate where you install the game. Some games require you to install on the C drive but this game shouldn't. However, sometimes games have a conflicting issue reading/writing on a specific drive especially if it hasn't been wiped properly of existing or conflicting programs/errors. If you have more concrete information on what is happening other than just crashing more people may be able to help you further.
One suggestion I can make is to verify your game files on steam to make sure it was installed properly. Another thing you should double check your drivers for this game and the correct Microsoft Software and direct X software is installed. Steam doesn't always install games properly on all systems.
In order to do that open up Steam, go to your Library, Find Transformers War for Cybertron, Steam Gear Icon (right hand side of screen where you launch the game), under the main tabs it should list an option to "Verify integrity of Steam Game Files." Try that out. If all else fails you may want to run a third party software to find out what the conflicting error is all about.
If you have any other questions or concerns, i'll do my best to help.
