Start-up very slow

Hi,
In the past I could play Blur without no problem on my PC.
I placed a new HD and did a new installation of Windows 7. When I play Blur now it is very slow. All my other games are no problem. Does any one have a solution?

Only thing i can think of is that your storage configuration in the BIOS settings is set to "IDE". I Had mine set to IDE and my game used to crash at loading and i would always be last in on l4d2 maps. Set it to AHCI and now im 1st in. Hope this helps.

Update : I checked my BIOS but it was on AHCI. But thanks for the tip.

Same thing here. I've placed new videocard and now FPS is 7-15. Other games work perfect.

I ordered a new hhd and videocard GTI 660ti.
Hopefully IT WILL WORK BETTER

Actually, I've had this issue before, but it disappeared after rebooting. Seems like bug in the game.

Found a solution. I've use x360ce to configure JoyStick. Removing it from game folder solved the problem.

This is the solution. Very strange because I used the x360ce on my prev. computer.

This interising, will in joy ay lookinkinto ,at this time it is not listed on Steam , allso looking in to that , I am partner with Microsoft and they are trying hard to push to Win 8, they are into the BIOUS , and some up dates in Win 7 may bleed in to it . I personaly wish they where not in BIOUS period.To me it like they thy are takink on controling MY computers . That is Why Steam as been pushing Lunax or from of it , it should be called Unix , I have cheeking and IBM has been supporting Burkly on supporting all froms of Unix ,on is Ubuntu and is working with , whitch is good as it takingMicrosoft out , Now to get the Deievapers to change over is not easly done ,it is mayger change and costly . I worked on some IBM Dose computer a cupal of years ago on Medical field , the resson was te cost to switch over several thounds to go to Windows , the company had it where coult eather one & would not be cost evetive to switch , sorry on spelling , i am running Win 8 and still working with several other pepaula on Bugs as out look still as bugs . I know that this long , jt give you some in site as what is going on , I have Ubuntu duel booted on this this computer and will boot it up later and see how we are doing and this discussions taged
