Splitscreen with LAN

Hello, blur people. First off, best splitscreen PC game ever. Am I right?

We love it so much that we want to hook up two PCs to two different TVs, and set up 8 controllers. My question is, does anyone know if you can do 4 player split screen per PC and utilize a LAN connection?

Reminds me of Mario Kart: Double Dash (where you could actually have split-screen LAN, or up to eight freakin Gamecubes LAN'd together).

In a time where split-screen games are hard to come by, just be thankful you even have a Steam copy of this amazing game IMO best modern party game
