Achievements not working

I somehow unlocked the 'doll collector' achievement even though I had only unlocked the 'like it's hot' achievement for chapter 1 so far. It happened when I started a 2nd play through and touched one of the poppets I had already touched before in chapter 1. I continued to play and found 2 poppets in chapters 2-4 but unlocked none of those achivements. I also still have yet to unlock the 'completed chapter 4' achievement after finishing the game twice. I had verified the integrity of my files after the first play through when a couple of the chapter achievements didn't unlock. I started a 3rd play through and the Lloyd achievement didn't unlock either. I quit the game, verified my files again then tried to replay from the last save point but it still didn't unlock. What do I do now?

Maybe there's some tracking going on in the game files? Perhaps you could uninstall and reinstall the game to try to reset it.

Adding on to achievement troubles, if you don't mind.

I can't get the Snoop achievement to pop. I've gone through all Cassie's texts and voicemails multiple times and listened to them all completely. I also couldn't get the touchstone Memento achievements for the first couple of chapters even though I'm sure I didn't miss any. I'm playing again anyhow to get Quiet Knoll so I'll double check. If that doesn't work I'll do an uninstall and reinstall and report back.

Edit: I ran into something similar to your situation! I grabbed all the touchstones in Chapter 1 and got the Chapter 1 Memento achievement AND the Touching achievement even though I don't have the Memento achievements for Chapter 2 and 3 yet.

I reported it but haven't heard back. I'm also having issues in Chapter 2 with falling through floors, etc. I've given up on playing the game until these things are resolved.

I never heard back since June and haven't tried to play the game since. It's too bad. I had also paid to have my name in the credits, which it wasn't when the game was released, and then spelled wrong and never fixed. I wouldn't support their games again.

I took this game out of the cart, glad I didn't purchase. Well, the reviews made me concerned, this thread is definately a clencher. Might check it after some time see if at least the achievements have improved. (I like to 100% games, can't do that if the achiev's are bugged).

The poppet achievements are weird. They award you the achievement for finding 2 in each chapter, but there are 3 in each chapter.

So i found 3 in chapters 1, 2 and 4. Got the achievements for those chapters (after collecting 2 mind you).

But I only found 1 in chapter 3, so I didn't get that chapter's achievement.

But after collecting the 3rd poppet in chapter 4, i got the "Doll Collector" achievement for getting all the dolls.
