VR works!
All you have to do is put "-vr" in the launch options. Menu shows up and it's way too close and hard to see anything. Just do your best to select new game. All cut scenes and menus will be barely visible, but once the gameplay actually starts things look fine.

However, you are a little too low on the ground. If you crouch your head is barely above the floor, but you can still select items with no problem. (I used Xbox One Controller)

Bought it for 2 EUR. I’ll post back here after testing...

Yes, it works, first attempt didn't work, but I rebooted the pc and lowered my flat screen resolution from 4K to HD as this sometimes interferes with games. Anyway, whatever the reason was for the game not running in VR the first time, it now works and it's amazing in VR. Too bad the menus and message are not readable in VR but you can watch them on your monitor in the beginning until you know the functions of the controller keys. Not perfect, but still so much better compared to playing it pancake. Thanks for the tip!

Yeah I'm always surprised when a game just needs a little work to be VR supported and devs refuse to release VR support. I think devs think that you need motion controller support for VR. Unfortunately, many steam reviewers think this way too and will downvote a game for not supporting motion controllers.

All these gamers posting about a VR game being unplayable or devs being lazy for the simple reason that they don't have hand tracking is not only stupid and unneeded, but it's also holding many devs back from releasing a VR version. Too bad, but nothing we can do about it I guess. I'm happy I can play this one in VR at least.

SteamVR is too toxic for its own good. So many reviews are basically, "My VR headset, which is not officially supported, doesn't work without editing controller bindings, automatic negative review."

If they don't support the VR controllers, that's a problem.

If they support the VR controllers but don't support motion control, learn to push the buttons and use the sticks that are on the controller. Motion controls are only important if you need a mouse (because you need to be able to point and click things).
