How big is the actual download for this game????

Just want to ask how much space does this take up on our hard drives??
The desciption says 7GIG but when I come to download it says nearer to 20GIG????

After it's installed, Steam says it's 6,635 MB on disk. Weirdly enough, when actually downloading, steam says it's 3 gigs.

Yes whilst downloading 3GIG and then after near 7GIG (But that will just be the game unpacking!!)...........but where the HELL does this near 20GIG come from when you try to download as it says you near that much to download it????

Been looking into this. Not sure why this is so big right now. We'll get it down to the usual size of ~6gb asap.

No worries and that would be great..............it wont even let you download the game unless you have 20GIG free!! ;)
On a side note even though I haven't played the game much yet its GRRRRRRRRRREAT!!! ;)

Thanks for understanding and the kind words. I *think* we may be dealing with a bug with Steam actually (not to point fingers) but I pulled in another programmer to help take a closer look. We know what the problem is, but are having trouble solving it. Has to do with the different depots in Steam. Close now. Sorry for the wait.

OK, this should now be down to the expected size of just under 7gb. Sorry for the mixup, but fixed now! Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

No worries and happy you have sorted the issue out...................played some more of the game by the way and I love it and think its one of the most original horror games I have played in quite some time!! ;)
