LEGIE
fullscreen?
Any way to switch the game to fullscreen? I tried ALT+TAB, but it's not working. The window is a little small for my taste...

Yeah, the size is pretty bad, it's about less than 1/4 of my screen and some things are hard to see and read.

Ok, so I found a little software that helps a little:
https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/11799/turn-non-resizeable-windows-into-rezieable-windows/

But there is a pretty big downside, the HUD and icons are tied to the original little box size so it isn't really perfect:

The cursor is still pointing at the centre of the screen, but it's confusing since the acutal icon and the information is at the top left...

It's really a shame since the game look great at that size and it doesn't look like it would be that difficult for the dev to fix this, but I'm not tech savvy enough to try anything myself since all the game is packed into a few files.

I tried

- ResizeEnable
- Sizer
- AutoSizer
- IntegerScaler

None of it works.

I'm sure it wasn't the dev's intention, but the game is fully fullscreen-proof. Not only fullscreen-proof, it can't be resized at all.

If it's resized with ResizeEnable, like you say, the active spot is no longer in the center of the window, which makes the game unplayable.

Ok, this was the best I could do to be able to play Legie with a high resolution monitor:

1) Download and install Display Changer:
http://12noon.com/?page_id=80

2) Right-click on the desktop and select
"Personalize" - "Themes" - "Desktop icon settings", and un-check "Allow themes to change desktop icons"

We're going to switch desktop resolutions, with this option checked your icons would get rearranged every time.

3) Create a .bat file
"C:\Program Files (x86)\12noon Display Changer\dc64cmd.exe" width=1600 -height=900 "C:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\LEGIE\legie.exe" "C:\Program Files (x86)\12noon Display Changer\dc64cmd.exe" -width=max -height=max
Obviously change the paths to those you use on your computer.
This will change your desktop resolution, run the game and after you exit it, change the desktop resolution back.

It's not fullscreen, but at least I can read the text now.

Hopefully the game is worth all this... :)

Hi Revisor , thanks for the fix but I would like to know where does the bat file goes. Thanks for your reply.

It doesn't matter where the bat file is, it's basically just a shortcut for command lines, you just have to launch it.

You can try Res-o-matic too, just create shortcut with 800x600 resolution.
PS - dunno what is real resolution of this game, sometimes its 800x600, sometimes its 1024x768, real mess

I'm using windows display settings, raising up the scale. It's not perfect, but it's simple.

Its and old game written in Delphi programming language.

That's maybe the reason for it not being able to be fullscreened.

I used Windows Paint to get a black background. Simply created a black picture in paint, then hit F11 for Fullcsreen. Used Alt Tab to switch back to Legie.
You can also hide the taskbar, if you want. (Right-click on an empty area of the taskbar. Click taskbar settings. Toggle Automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode to on.).

Good idea but can't you still see the Title bar of the LEGIE window?

Yes, I still can see it. Did not found a simple solution for hiding it.
