Why Art Style changed from Huniepop?

I like Huniepop style, so why?

Because Huniecam is meant to be a parody of mobile/facebook games.

I don't understand why so few people seem to have picked up on that and just take it at face value.

Yeah. Why did anyone expect the same goodness from HuniePop considering they are the same devs. Not even sure why the poster above you doesn't understand... Sadly, they chose a cartoonish style instead and that was intended. They knew that people would not like it as much.

They talked about changing the art style to be closer to HuniePop's. I'm disappointed they didn't. The art style breaks it for me. I would have bought it if it didn't look like this.

Nah, this artstyle was intended by the devs to mock cheap facebook games or etc. They will return to the HuniePop style on a future game, whenever that is supposed to happen.

They did the art like this becuase this game is sort of a spin-off and is seprate from the other game's cannon. The twitter account stated this is the their Windwaker so to say. They sort said they would go back to the orginal style for the next Huniepop game.

Because this artist was cheaper probably.
There is no other explanation for this... "thing" they call art.

^This. Too many devs would've just popped out the safe "Huniepop 2: Now With More Girls and More Explicit Pics" instead of going with something radically different.
