Here's what I do:
1. Get subscriber pillows and cocaine. Also get a basket for your delivery girl. Once you get to about day 10, you start swapping out subscriber pillows for fetish items. IMPORTANT: Even though style becomes less useful as the game goes on, NEVER give a subscriber pillow to someone until you have them at level 2 style. Doing a cam show and getting two fans every time is depressing. Ideally your first girl should be level 2 or level 3 style.
2. Productivity is important early on. Get 2 minute clicks no later than the end of day 2, get 3 minute clicks by day 6.
3. If you must hire Audrey, work on giving her a nicotine patch, a wine bottle and a basket. Lillian and Tiffany will do much better at getting you fans, and because Audrey is addicted to drinking *and* smoking, you can have her make late runs, even if her stress level is 90%. Give Lillian a nicotine patch but don't be afraid to sub it out for a fetish item by day 13-14.
4. Work on getting promos and get to 8 as soon as possible. Also important are the cash boost from the cameras.
5. If you get fetish items, see how many fans each one has and whether there is a promo for them.. If you only have 12 fans of cake farting, don't pick up cakes. You always want to move up as far as items are concerned regarding number of fans.
6. Try to buy all 8 promo items if you can afford them, but always prioritize by the number of girls you have for each of the fetishes. If you don't have a black girl, your ebony powerup can wait.
7. Late in the game, just focus on cash and promos.
I agree with most of the above info, though I'd rather just run a fully dedicated delivery girl rather than load up patches and wine boxes on someone. 2 fet items and a pillow are ideal for all the other 7 characters up to nearly the end (where you'll want 3 fet items for the extra fan coverage), though in the end most of your fans are coming from promos.
For fet items, try to use them to have most of your characters share some characteristic with each other. For example, Aiko and Nikki already share the "glasses" trait, so you want them to have different items from each other. Nikki and Tiffany don't share any traits, so you'll want them to have an item in common so that they do. Shared traits means shared fans, and shared fans means more fans you already have paying for cam shows, which means more money for more promos. I can't overstate how important promos are to getting a high rank, and they get really expensive on the last few days.
Get as many characters on the same building as possible, since productivity clicks reduce the time on everyone inside. Don't waste clicks on the delivery girl picking up things from the store unless you're really desperate for items, but you really should try to keep things from getting to that point. Also, your errand girl should be one of the starters, or at least with as low stats as you can get. Higher stats means you have to pay them more, and they aren't a character that's actually making money on their own.
Also, be sure to make purchases at the end of the day before the books hit you. Getting that extra upgrade can help out a lot with paying everything back and turning a profit the next day.
