Hi Bompertun, thanks for buying Space Moth DX! I wrote a Scoring Guide for the game which also covers some basics that you might find useful here - http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=607707708
And a few months ago I uploaded a full run of the game to YouTube, which shows how to take down all the bosses - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVZ9pagCceQ
For the second boss in particular, it's a bit of a difficulty spike but is very weak to bombs - and there's an extra bomb hidden in the mushroom field just before the fight! :BerryBomb:

Also, if you use Practice Mode and experiment a bit you might be able to find a safe spot where the boss' horizontal pincer shots can't get you...

Good luck! :cbhunter:

Cool, man. I already looked at the Scoring Guide, but thanks for caring! I'm getting better slowly but surely! And I want to thank you for making such an awsome game, or at least helping with it!

My suggestion is to start with easier games in the genre, perhaps some of the earlier ones like Tyrian or Raptor. Practice is important, same as with fighting games; and your experiences with one game get carried over to other similar games.

just keep pumping hours into it. also get exceed 3rd on steam when it goes on sale for around a dollar, same ♥♥♥♥ different toilet but you can scale the difficulty down a lot.

tip on 2nd boss, the moving up and down lazers from the claws are the hardest part, you want to move through them when the claw's are farthest apart gives you easiest vision / being able to calculate lazer distance travel. So always do that should be easier. micro movements side to side to bait the bullets. You'll get better at it as you put more time in.

last boss is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ prepare your anus.

I just wanted to say that I also suck at this game, but love it. It's very fun and challenging. Thanks!

Good to know that you're enjoying the game Orakio! :ECT_Ship:

For anyone wanting more general tips on practicing bullet hell games, there's a good thread over on Shmups Forum with links to lots of different guides here: How to Practice Shooting Games[shmups.system11.org].

This game is pure diabolical evil. But I keep returning to it and maybe some day I will complete it.
