Burning Blood flopped the moment it was released, Naruto 4 still currently has 800 people playing as of now so it's far from dead
As far as i've known, any dead game from any company usually just stops being supported since even the hype from burning bloods release only saw 800 people max while Naruto 4 doubled
That being said, the stats do say Burning Blood is going up in popularity so that's a slight good sign :)
Yeah, probably the boost from the last sale. I did some research and found out that the ps4 version sold almost 500k copies, the xbox one 190k and pc reached 50k and could potentially increase with enough sales. Pirate warriors did fine too and to this day its very popular because of sales and stuff.
Problem is, if anyone in the community is to talk about the game, it would be pc (since steam is half a game provider and half a discussion forum for games) and the sales were ♥♥♥♥ so it seems like a lonely and abandoned game on pc while ps4 and xbox one players sit there happily playing their games on their consoles. Kinda sad but that's reality xD
I think it's still because online died quickly and the campaign difficulty (which seems fitting if harder opponents= harder to defeat) that the game died so quick. With both of these, i don't care much tbh but i don't play it due to limited time on my behalf, that's all
This game is getting a sequel.

This game got a very bad repuation because of the Naruto Storm tards. The popular Naruto Storm tard YouTubers like ShikaClouds, Afro Senju, etc killed the hype for the is game.
Don't believe me. Watch their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ videos.

Afro Senju stopped playing the game for months then came back when Rob Lucci was release.

Plus it was release late for PC. I'm sure it won't happen again.
Not to mention, people are still playing the Naruto Storm 4 because the series been going for like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 10 years while this is still Spike Chunsoft first One Piece fighting game.
I'm glad Spike Chunsoft developing a One Piece fighting game because CyberConnect2 wouldn't bring anything new. I know for a fact Bandai Namco doesn't want all their game to be completely similar because there would be no variety.
I really hope they make the sequel.
I would be happy with patches and dlcs too. The 60fps patch primarily :P
