Thank you for your understanding.
Let me know if you have any questions or just how it goes. Cheers!
however it plays well with keyboard and mouse.
Many thanks for all your effort. I'd like to know if there's an ETA for a patch?
Frozenbyte in previous games was releasing patches pretty often. I assume some patch may appear in June.
Had to map everyting with keyboard bindings, not ideal for a game that has controller support listed :( .
I hope you can still enjoy the game, so let me know if you need help with the bindings.
Cheers!
I wouldn't recommend this to any other Linux users until the developer figures out XInput. Pretty amateur hour at the moment.
[1] For certain values of "worked". It wasn't pretty and required particular drivers, but at least most people got it working.

Just tested this on Steam Deck to see whether anything has changed: as you might expect it's playable using mouse+keyboard emulation, but there's still no native controller support.
Mostly just simple business logic. We can't really keep development team on a game that was released over six years ago.
Have you tried the game's in Windows version with Proton emulation? It likely works better than native Linux version.
