Is there a way to break through walls?

So there have been several places I have been to where there is something behind a wall that I can't get to. I have searched all over in these places to find a switch or illusion or something that would let me through, to no avail. I know if there is an exploding barrell next to a wall, the barrell can take the wall out. That makes me think there might be some way to destroy walls with an item or potion or scroll or skill or something. Anybody run into this?

Sometimes you can crawl through as a mouse, it's a special tile with a black little mousehole at the bottom, that's about it though.

most of these require arcane telaport self.but some can be crawled thru as a mouse and some have explosive barrels near them that will take out the wall if you shoot barrel

Also some require items from quests / found in areas that let you tp into them, or to go through a certain portal somewhere.
