Yes, in Balrum SE, middle of the map. The guy is named Henry and he gives you a quest to rid the caves of rock golems for the miners. Easy to spot, lots of rock around the the cave and Henrys house.

I just got the weapon and you still get raped by them stone golems, the combination of rock throw stun and rng with miss you are lucky if you barely survive. And if you survive , enjoy the regen wait to kil the next golem lol

don't forget blindness. It's a stun+blindness+your own miss chance+physical damage reflection shell that makes melee fighters like us hate those golems so much. Oh also, since pet deals "IMMUNITY" aka 0 damage, the aggro is all on the player.

I have to Save/Load 4-5 times on average before getting a decent fight where I only used 2-3 health potions. After each fight I literally have to wait for half a day unless I spam potions.

While potions made with troll ears will get rid of the stun problem for a short while, I don't think there's nearly enough troll ears to make stun immunity potions.

Physical damage absorption potion, dodge/block chance potion also helps, but there's just way more golems than potions. Plus there's Potion Drank limit.

the golems are far easier for me, kiting them as a mage... you should maybe try to use a bow if your dex is high enough

at range you just need to make sure you're 4-5 tiles away so he cant charge you if his stun connects

I have 2 base dex, 0 base int, 1 base wisdom, and no hunting/arcane skill, I am pure melee.

yeah bleed + stun immunity, i know exactly what you are saying

this is what it is considered 'difficulty': save scum untill dice roll works out right lol, its kinda sad :<

The Devs could consider adding an option to either let us enhance "golem slaying" attributes to our own custom weapons. Or create a potion recipe that give us a "golem slaying" buff (during which all the normal weapons you wield become golem slaying). I don't care if these recipes are high leveled, as long as they exist.

The current problem is that the golem slaying sword's progression is not scaled with the player character's progression. Oh not to mention it's two-handed...shield is kinda important for me.

Those are just my thoughts. While I don't like the current outlook on melee vs. golems, I am not whining. I can still chip away those golems one by one and come out alive at the end. It's just a bit annoying in general (When I was fighting "The Mountain"...I almost cried QwQ).

Custom weapons wise, I'm sure I read in a quest that the golem slaying element of weapon was due to adding crystals to the weapon. No idea if this pans out in the game as I'm playing a full on mage character, but perhaps something to try?

Do someone know where to find a new Golem Slayer except the Fox Golem Slayer and the Henry Golem Slayer ? I don't know why, I sold them.
