I think they were referring to the "wisp in a bottle" which I'm also curious about.

I thing curtyuiop you don't explain too well

1. get close to a wisp - done
2. open your alchemy inventory - done
3. right click to use wisp in a bottle and you extract the energy of a wisp - right click to wisp is battle or run :/ nothing happened. I click on wisp and crystal bottle

The item 'Wisp in a bottle' isn't used to capture wisps, it's used to capture the essence of wisps. You can store up to 100 essence (It's not stored in your inventory) and it's used to build items in your SafePlace, primarily plants and trees. Trees cost 20 essence and plants/flowers cost 5 essence.

hey, I tried to help you, why do you want a wisp in a bottle? And if you think I don't play to well, have a look at my stats.

Capturing Wisp Energy (which is captured in the Wisp in a Bottle) can be done by right-clicking that bottle when you're near a Wisp. This energy is used to plant trees or bushes in your Safeplace. Wisp Energy replenishes over time, there's an unlimited amount afaik.

You can capture a Wisp using an Animal Taming Trap for a quest for an NPC named Eliza (requires no Hunting skill). I had not previously attempted this (it seemed obvious to try it on hindsight though). It was added to my quest inventory and I couldn't capture a second one until I released the first near her farm. After that I captured a second and it was put in my weapons/tools inventory, interestingly (I'm going to release it near my farm in my Safeplace).

In your Safeplace, you can lure a Wisp near your desired farming/logging spot (which regrows trees and I think prevents disease on your crops), as shown in this youtube video I found: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WK9uCnbRdu4
