Help - Where is the sparkling tree ?

Hello. I've discovered and started this excellent game yesterday (better late than never) and I can't find the sparkling tree that I'm asked by Barnaba (or some name like that) to sample. He says the tree is South of his house but there is no sparkling tree there.
Is it an error and the tree is like Est or West ?
Or does this tree only appears at certain time or when something special happens ?
Or is it really South, but very far South, like on the other side of the big lack that is South of his house ?

Iirc, it's south-east corner of north-west darkwood (if you look at the map. due to tilted camera angle south on map is actually south-west in the world) just past the crystal golem cave (iirc, marked on the with all those movable rocks around). I don't remember if it sparkled (iirc, just grey tree trunk).

I think there was giant spider or other bug guarding it and there was small ruin to the left. It's not that far away from Barnabas' house and you don't need to cross over to other sections of the darkwood.

If you zoom out (mousewheel) from the place where you got the quest you can see it. It doesn't actually sparkle, but it's light blue and kind of standing by itself. It was much nearer to the quest giver than I thought it would be.

Thanks to you both I found it ! Indeed, it was not sparkling at all but just a silver tree not too far.
