Where are the save files kept ?

Hello, I want to start a fresh game but it can't be done in game so can someone tell me where the saves are kept please,
I own the original and looking through my diary I apppear to have the saves from the original working in this which should not be happening.

I'm wondering the same thing. The original kept the save file in
C:\Users\Your Name\Documents\My Games\Deadlight
but that does not appear to be the case for the DC. I've been looking all over for where it's kept with no luck = \

Hi, I've just come back to it and still can't find them, I was hoping one of the dev's would reply but no such luck.

Ya, I'm about to uninstall it. I was hoping to backup my save first, but I guess it's not just meant to be.

Best as I can tell the main place to look would be:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Deadlight Director’s Cut

Isn't it a Cloud save? I thought I saw something about Cloud when I first started playing yesterday. Either way, all the progress I made yesterday wasn't saved. Now I need to find out if I can request a refund on a gifted game (money obviously goes back ot buyer) and get the standard version. From what I've read, the DC is buggy as hell.

If you read this, and still want to start a full new game:
Open the documents/ , in here there will be a folder named my games.
Lunch the game, and you have to be quick, after the steam cloud is synchronizationed, you have to delete the my games folder.
This is work for me :)
