Legendary runes?

I got some of them, from the campaign but how usefull are they?
Are they all a one shot bonus?

Yes, at the moment they are all a one shot bonus. Every character has its own specific herostrike (for example freezing all units with barrows) and you can make use of it in the endless mode. The free angry mob is very usefull in the endlessmode aswell.

Hmm I think I rather have one of the other bonuses that keep on giving. XD
Other thing, what it the max level on weaopns? Is it also 15?

The max level on weapons is 8.
Of course there are many different strategies possible in the endless mode. I would recommend you to give it try, and we speak afterwards ;)

I have and did not got futher then wave 4..Even with a free town mod that would get me to 5 or 6?. So yea wound be doing that soon again XD
I'm just grinding out gold for all the upgrades and what not. Xd I think i will be dreaming of castle gardens over runed by zombies tonight.

lol, well your profile is set to private so i can brouwse them and i already saw ingame that you where ad the top... (I gues being humble is not your thing? :P)
Still i dont get how that would take me too that level... or heck even half of that.

Actually, it's very micro-intense to get thus far. There are many strategies to do this, but most of the time i used Barrows as an "emergency button". Cost reduction in all slots. Only in the last two slots i had the legendary runes (sometimes both, sometimes only one of them).
With the rest of your heroes you need to focus on their strenghts, always position them well and make good use of the shrines.
I hope that helps a bit. I allready played 100+ hours in the early acces and i needed many tries to find out which strategy is the best for me (and i am still searching for it).

hmm that is a cool idea. I did try the "hero stick" rune in the last slot, but it fired just once on level 6 and did nothing on 7. maybe it got bugged then. ill give it another try on barrows.
I have now 16 houres on record and just shy of about 10 epic runes (the ones i wanne have ad least)
What shrine do you sugest for the castle garden?

I would go with Sams hero-shrine.
