Hey it's the author. The question of "Who can be romanced?" was one of the most frequently asked questions during the game development process on the Choice of Games forums.

I could just answer the question, but that would be spoilery for other folks reading this, and I do think half of the fun of the game is exploration. But there are definitely more than just Tress and DG.

FYI - I just posted a basic romance guide on my author discussion thread. It may not be perfect, because the code is complicated and I'm going by memory, but it's a good start.

Possibly. Many people have asked about Stoic. Others have asked about Hedonist and/or Captain California. I'm not sure if any will be added, as I'd rather add them for a reason as opposed to just tossing them in there.

Crook (sort of), Tress, Stunner, Dirty Girl, and Mob. Not sure about any others. I haven't tried Uni, but it might work.

Uni most certainly works. You have to take no stand on the Contrarian issue and maybe (not sure) throw the fight against her in the Breaking midterms.

Yes, throwing the fight is necessary, as it's the ice breaker that leads up to you possibly asking Uni out (either as a friend or as a date) if you do take no stance against the Contrarian issue. Otherwise her individual scene with her will be short and it'll move onto CW's.

CW? What does that stand for?

COMBAT WOMBAT. Anyone figured out WHY he named the armour after the "majestic wombat?" Or is that just a recurring joke?

He didn't name it after it. I forgot what it's actually called, but in reality his suit is called the W.O.M.B.A.T.,

He didn't name it after it. I forgot what it's actually called, but in reality his suit is called the W.O.M.B.A.T.,

He did - or, at least, he claims he did. There's at least two different instances in the game where he begins to tell you why he named his suit after "the majestic wombat," but you get interrupted both times. Yes, it's an acronym, but there's apparently a reason it's THAT acronym. I just don't know if the reason is discoverable in-game or not.
