i can t start the game i click play and it runs somthing game specifications thn i click ok and nothing hapens

I have the same problem ever since my laptop upgraded itself to Windows 10. It used to work fine under Windows 8. Anyone out there got any answers?

Try run it through the Windows Explorer, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Race and double click on Race_Steam.exe

I solved my same problem, Open "Control panel of NVIDIA", go to "Manage 3d settings" and choise the RACE - THE WTCC GAME and in the "Select graphics processor" choise "Integrated graphics".

Yes, I know this is an old post, bumping it anyway.
Did no one try compatibility mode in properties using Windows File Explorer? I had the same problem and fixed it by setting the compatibility to Windows 7.

I have found a solution how to fix this problem. Go to local files and find these files: Race_steam,RaceConfig_steam,RaceDedicatedServer_Steam,SteamInfoApp,SteamProxy. Set them all as Run as administrator. In my case I had to launch this game twice and the problem was gone. It even fixed that the game was not showing on steam.
