It's not like you wouldn't be able to shoot the enemies chasing your buddies. Co-op would be actual fire. Could you imagine how much fun it could be to try and coordinate with other players to all shoot at the same target? Or trying to revive a knocked teammate? Or surviving to 500 seconds as a team? 6 years after launch, co-op would be a literal game changer for DD, breathing new life into an already frequently played game, and I for one would love the crap out of it.
