Also tried it with the Steam Controller and that faired much better though. I could get to 90-something seconds quite easily and it didn't feel too crippling. Even shotgun jumps were possible to do.
Still, wouldn't actually want to play it with either of those for any length of time. The game plays much better with a mouse. If you really want to play it with a controller for some reason though, the SC is the way to go.
