What About a Co-oP mode?
just imagine, we can play devil daggers with our friends together.

when someone dies, game over. this is called co-op.

skull are going to chase the closest player. your reviving idea is pretty good tho.

Sounds good, im with you ;-))

PS: Fact is that the game gets boring after some time playing it. Coop is the only chance to make it more "long time" interresting i think!

I think a new arena with different spawn set would be a much better way.

multiplayer will never come, it cost too much and wont give much profit probably and its not easy to develop multiplayer anyway.
singleplayer campaign or new arena with new enemies are more realistic goal

the game will be boring if you play same mode again and again. and if coop mode exists, more people can buy the game.

yet u suggested co-op which is exact same game, but with friend
i said campaign and new arena which is not same, its different game mode/ content

Co-op would require netcode, lag compensation, enemy sync, world sync, time sync.

Egh, co-op would get messy. Nothing like accidentally leading the swarm or the centipede chasing you into your friend!

I think it would be an interesting thing to see how Sorath does it. There are certainley ways to deal with lag and player tracking. I'd love to see the way players work together to take down enemies like centipedes and larger squids. The only things I think would be awkward or weird is the player-models and revival system (perhaps no revival?) Balancing would also be a thing to think about, but easy ways to "balance" it is through more enemies or stronger enemies.

But again, I'd love to see how Sorath deals with multiplayer in a game like Devil Daggers.
