Got one basicly a semicircal great for locking down spawners.
Afew small drone ones that work in conjuction to form a wall.
Some focused around rapid firing cannons.
Even mobile mine fortress's.
Still working on making them as good as i want sometimes the smallest difference makes a huge difference
Main issue with that big guy besides build time and cost would be if anything managed to get behind him he would die instantly.
I know you would station him far back but sometimes it's not much of an option like when you got partical ships coming in from every direction.
You should always deck out your toolkit most suitable for the mission. A unit like the Sathanas obviously isn't effective on 10-15 minute maps, so there's no reason to bring that one with you at all. On missions with a lot of particle ships, you bring 3-4 mjolnirs with you. On missions with a lot of spread emergence, you bring the destroyers with you etc.
I had made a couple of really fun and interesting designs, such as a small 12 laser cube.
Using big heavy ships with vulnerable spots, are best used to crack open a strong defense, while smaller ships are best used to make a defense.
It's kind of weird. I show off a plane out of my collection and you're telling it it will have trouble with buoyancy on water. Well yes... that's not what you use it for... You use boats for that...
The game now supports custom ships and downloading of custom ships designed by others.
