Can you edit the Corporate HQ in 'Sandbox Fleet' mode?

I found out that in the ship editor you can put an HQ block on a ship by pressing alt + c. However, I can't seem to replace or edit the default Corporate HQ ship. Is it possible to do so? This is in story mode.

It's impossible and this is a frustrating fact.

On custom maps you can start with a custom HQ.
I don't know how the map creator did it.

Yes, but i forgot how since I last did it over a year ago. Basically there was a trick to get the HQ into the editor, which I discovered by accident, and i used this to make a map where the HQ is a flagship carrier. It was very fun, since it could be reconstructed for "free", or if you want, you could even have multiple HQs! It was like a whole new possible gamemode, especially if you had fail game on HQ loss enabled (Though i don't think it counts any HQ ships in your main roster). I never finished the map so it wasn't uploaded, but maybe someday I will finish it and make a mini-campaign now that i'm trying to 100% all the creeper world games.
