Switch version massively disappointing
After buying this full price on PC a week or two back and loving the hell out of it, I decided to double dip and buy it on Nintendo Switch to have it on the go. Rarely do that and got to say I am disappointed I spent another $20 on this game for that system.

Why did you forgo giving Switch players the simple scanlines and color filters to apply? Surely it can't be due to limitations since lots of games offer CRT/scanlines, ect filter options. Seems like a design choice. Not only that but there is no in-game achievements or any legit forms of stat tracking other than highscores. Would of been nice to give Switch users something like that to help bring it on par the PC version that has Steam achievements and stuff.

I just was shocked at the port and had to complain. I understand it may not be your fault and may be the fault of the people you had port the game but I did feel compelled to speak up because I think it's criminal to charge the same price as you do for this game on that system when it looks worse and lacks more features. Felt a little mislead by it.

Otherwise I LOVE this game. I'd really like to see another table or two, maybe in DLC that has a new set of monsters and my favorite, MUSIC. I have a lot of the realistic pinball games now and spent $100's on them but this game drawls me in with the retro graphics, gameplay and music. I'd love to see more content to keep me coming back time and time again. And maybe.. some love towards the Switch version but that might be a stretch I know.

Thanks for allowing me to rant. Take care!

Hi, sorry to hear. Getting the game running at 60 fps was the top priority, in my research seeing SW ports done at 30, it was just unacceptable for DT. We did a lot of optimization on the cpu side. On the gpu side there just wasn't room for post processing effects, these things can be quite heavy on the certain types of GPU but a breeze for any dedicated card.

As far as achievements, Nintendos platform doesn't have them, they are something we put on the platform side since we started with the Steam version. It's a hard lesson learned.

Thank you for the support, feedback is appreciated of course.!

All good, I understand and apologize if I came off ungrateful or rude! I just love being able to slap on those classic scalelines to get that retro feel and was unable to do so. Besides that, I've actually been enjoying the game quite a lot and play it near nightly on the Switch so money well spent.

I do have a small request though, especially for Switch and that's to offer up a co-op mode so you can play with friends. By that I mean other games have like "hot seat" where after you lose your ball, you pass the controller over then at then end after both lost their balls, their scores are totaled and a winner is declared (or add both totals together for non-verses mode aka wifey mode lol). Just an idea. I'd like to incorporate this game into family game night with my wife! Thanks man and keep up the hard work. Excited for the future. Cheers!
