Jake's box glitch

My final step is to get Jake's box open in the library. To get the box to appear under his seat, I have to enter his locker combo into the reference computer catalog. I'm entering his code and nothing is coming up on the screen, so the box won't appear and I can't finish the game. Sooo disappointed!!
