WoF Server Shut Down Notice

Hello dear anglers.
Today we have sad news for you. Unfortunately, after 18 months we can not continue the operation of "World of Fishing" and will therefore permanently shut down the game operation on 31.07.2017.

Despite our efforts since the OBT start in November 2015, we were not able to make enough revenue with the game to finance the development team or keep the servers open. We would like to sincerely thank you for your contributions and support on this title and hope that you had a great time with World of Fishing.

With the decommissioning of the title, a few challenges arise, which we would like to face. On the one hand, we want to give all our loyal players the opportunity to play a full two months of WoF and use their remaining Pearls in a meaningful and practical manner. With this announcement the Pearlshop is also permanently closed with immediate effect.

We want to give something back to our most loyal players for their support. For this reason, we will send the basic edition of "Guardians of Ember" to all the players who have ever purchased real-money in the Pearl Shop. Players who have purchased a WoF Steam DLC will be automatically credited for this game. All other players who purchased via our Pearlshop will receive a newsletter with a Steam Key for the game.

In order to make the next two months as beautiful as possible, we will run massive bonus events, so that all players can enjoy the last fishing. We will provide further information about these event in the next few days.

We feel sorry for the shut down, but hope that all players had fun during our time together. We thank you for your great support and wish you all the best.

You could leave this game for anyone who wants to play offline, so we could complete all the maps, and make the levels that are missing

That will not happen. Insel Games cannot do that. That would be up to the developers, but I cannot see them doing that either.

wth? i am a new player , i am so wanna play this game but why ?? why this game go to shut down?? c'mon don't make me and all players "World Of Fishing" sad , in this day , i am download this game , confirm my email for this game and i get a problem "login failure" , and i open steam and open topic discussions , and i angry because the game can't continue the operation. i hate this

You would have been a bigger player base if you did not do release this but "World Tour Fishing", which Gamescampus left the development back in 2014. more than 300 people played ,before shut down.
And that game was much more fun!
I'm still waiting for a Reboot, maybe someone do it with uncut content!
