If you really don't know the basics, you can see how the notes are on the piano board!
I hope it'll help!

The point is, I have found the map with the drawings, and I have a wood pointer that reacts to some of these drawings. As I take it, the tombstone at the entrance (Elizabeth Blackwood) with the poem serves as a clue-code to figure the correct order in the map drawings.
Am I right? Or I'm approaching this incorrectly? I've tried to codify the clues in the tombstone, but I'm unable to find the correct order for the drawings. And I've tried maaaaaaaaaany combinations.
I just want to know if this is the way to solve this, not a direct solution. Thanks! ;)
Yes, this is how to solve it! You must be close of the solution!
But as I crossed the woods to the church I saw the markers and I'm pretty confused. So this thing goes like this:
The first two verses are easy to understand, wood and bone. From here, though...
"Across the dead roots venerated by worms alone" corresponds to the cross mark. I think I see why, although I was sure this verse refered to the dead tree (dead tree = dead roots).
"Cover not my tomb with stone, dear friend" refers to the... tree? Why? Honestly, I think I would've never figured this out. It seemed to refer to the drawing of the stone.
"Leave this fading corpse to its natural end." applies to the... stone? Again, I don't see the connection here. Although, I must confess that this verse was the most problematic for me.
So, would anyone kindly explain this puzzle to me? ;)
Here you chose the 2nde solution, so yes this was intented to be able to go thrue this drawing by looking at the sign!
Here is the way you should have solve the drawings puzzle:
"Only in simple wood will my prayers be borne" -> this correpond with the pile of wood.
"Resounding ever on in my arrogant shrine of bone " -> this is for the skull.
" Across the dead roots venerated by the worms alone" -> this match the cross and the dead tree
"Cover not my tomb with stone , dear friend" -> and finally this is for the rock!
Did it help you :D ?
Hahaha, ok, ok. Yes, thank you. Now I understand it. I was sure every verse refered to *one* and just one marker. And it was driving me crazy.
89% complete! I'm getting close to the end, without consulting walkthroughs :D I must confess this is one of the most difficult point'n click adventures I've played, but I'm loving every part of it.
Yup this game is difficult... a lot of people where watching/reading a walkthrough to get by some enigmas too difficult.
Good luck for the last part ;) !
I'm hyped to know what you think about the whole game when you will finish it!
I used Annie's suitcase with the torn sigil to add the fragmented papers. After that, I remained puzzled because nothing I tried worked. So, after days trying combinations I've suddenly formed a three pattern sigil that worked. My question is... Haborym hint about the first step to kwnoledge, etc, was a hint to form the sigil? If that's the case, how so?
I thought at first that something was hidden in the classroom (first step to knowledge), the laboratory (where studies find light) and the statues room (where the statues find refuge). But now I'm thinking that maybe, the hint refered to the drawings in the fragmented papers: a candle, two alcoves and a cross (although I don't see the connection between the cross and the hint).
Anyone kind enough to explain this to me? ^_^
Well. I'm at 99% now. I think there is only puzzle left: the weird drawing at the observatory that Seth looks at (the one with the eye in a keyhole, a woman (Annie maybe?) and the stairs to the moon). I'm very confused about this one, wish me luck :D
Let me explain the logic behind this:
You are right, the answer are in those three sentences said by Haborym.
On the first step to knowledge -> this is for the "drop" shape of the stairs under Annie's room,
where studies find the light -> is about the mural light in the study room,
where statues find refuge -> this is for the alcove in the statue corridor!
Good luck for this one, I hope you'll got it fast!
I see... thank you! This is the only puzzle I didn't like. The connection is waaaay too tenous and the hints waaaay too open for interpretation.
Anyway, I've just completed the last puzzle and finished the game with all the objects fixed :)
Thanks for your support and quick answers, congratulations again for such a nice and emotive game. I didn't expect that plot twist at the end.
Good job Zerael!
No problem, it's always a pleasure to help you! Thanks again!!
