Krater

FatShark, you should revisit this game/concept
This game really did it for me and I badly want to see what a more fully fleshed out game in this universe would be like. I feel like there's so much potential here.

I don't care if you go back and update this game or if you do something completely new, just please revisit this idea with all the knowledge and skills you've acquired since this was first launched.

I'm one of the probably few people that love the settings of Fallout and Borderlands but I'm just not that big on first person RPGs (I did enjoy the first 2 Fallout games though). So this game really scratches an itch for me, and to top it off, the humor is great.

Yea, I really liked this game. I wish that the devs can revisit this title and finish of the extra content.

Third this. Good story, art style, and humor. I picked up Early Access to Dreadlands which is kind of a spiritual successor, it uses the art and music from Krater. But it is a different story and different type of gameplay all together. I've enjoyed DL so far, but I'd happily buy additional episodes of Krater.

I agree!

Yes, I hope since years that they finished the other parts of krater... Devs let us know if this game has a future please?

Yeah, great game

Honestly, the way they handled this game is the reason I will not ever buy anything from them again.

RIP Darktide, for what you didn't finish in Krater, won't pay a dime to fatshark again.

I understand the frustration but I was actually trying to get some positive vibes going here, so please don't turn this into a "hating on Fatshark" thread. I'm sure there are plenty of other threads for that.

Fantastic game, replaying it now.!
Concur with your proposal man !

Already seconded but I'm bumping this again. I've given Dreadlands more than a fair amount of play time. It's good, but I just don't enjoy it as much as I did Krater. Not just for the gameplay style, but the stories, environment, and map exploration were just more interesting and engaging in Krater. Music too. Please finish this game!

UPDATE: Looks like Dreadlands too has been abandoned. Just like Krater. Oh well. Last game I buy from this company. Fool me twice...

I just tried Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden. It's in the same vein as Krater. Not quite as pretty and humorous, but it sort of scratches the itch.

Bumping for extra content

I just finished this game and it is relatively short story wise.
I'dd love a remake with more content (ability to travel to the island in the middle and an end to the storyline).

Also a couple more locations (maybe even a couple outside the crater) and more game lore would be nice.

Would totally buy a remake at full prize. I just love the art style of this game.

Fatshark did make a spiritual sequel of sorts called Bloodsports.TV. Its using the same engine as Krater, and plays nearly identical, but the game is entirely combat with no adventure. Its better put together than Krater (meaning less bugs). Unfortunately, like Krater, it has also been abandoned by Fatshark. :C

edit: I forgot to mention: Bloodsports.TV is not a single player game, basically unknown, and the player base has basically always been dead.

Its a shame they gave up on their own stuff. Both Krater and Bloodsports.TV had potential to be pretty good if they kept at it and focused on making them single player instead of multiplayer.
