How do I beat the Serpent Queen

I fight her, I get her down to like two-thirds, then she starts floating around and summoning blue fire from the ground. What do I do? I've tried the bow, and I see that depletes her, like, aura-thing that surrounds her. However she just regenerates it faster than I can deplete it. What am I not doing right? I've tried Nature's Bow and that stops her momentarily, but I can't get up to her. I've also tried Pirate's Leap. It's either impossible to reach her or I'm messing up my jumps. Which is it? I've also tried destroying that stone disk in the center of the arena that lets her regain power, but nothing has come of it. I feel like I've tried everything. What do I do?

It is very confusing when everything about this level teaches you to use the snare on baddies and surfaces but completely changes it to NOT using the snare during the boss battle. Even just before the battle you have to snare the bird lady to be able to do the focus thing or she'll stop you.
So you'd think that hey, I gotta stop this boss from draining energy by using the snare so I can do the focus thing and steal her energy or something and then stuff happen that will continue the fight. Sounds logical right? But no that's completely wrong and snaring her will do nothing but delay things and is the wrong thing to do, despite the game having just demonstrated this as a vital mechanic to this level.... It's just poor game design to be honest.

If the boss shrugged off the snare or easily broke free of it then that would tell you that hey, this boss is too strong for the snare so you gotta try a different approach, and that would have been fine but the game does not do that so you you are left wondering why this is not working when the game taught you to do this.

Yes, exactly. The boss is badly designed.
