Can't progress after opening 3 chakra gates? (probably spoilers for the ~10 hour mark)

The dialogue in-game said I opened all 3 chakra gates and that I should return to the tower of wisdom. The "story" marker on the map points me to the ship until I travel back to the port where the tower is, but I can walk right by the tower with no ability to enter it; no prompt for entering the door. There's no story icon anywhere on the map for the port, and there are two places in the map that I can't explore because I don't have that upgrade yet; an orange breakable wooden panel and a green breakable floor. I have no idea what to do. Perhaps I encountered a glitch?

Sounds like it. The green and orange breakables are things that open up after later upgrades and are not connected to your issue.

If you've opened all three chakra gates then you should be able to re-enter the tower of wisdom by standing in front of it and pressing up. You should be able to do this even if you haven't opened all three, if I recall correctly.

Inside you should be able to speak to Angwu and use the gate that's there.

I can only suggest you confirm that standing in front of the doors and pressing up doesn't work and double checking that all three gates were activated and that you definitely stood on them and held down your focus until they opened up like a coloured flower.

Ugh, yeah, I guess it's possible I didn't fully open one of the chakra gates, but I walked back and forth in front of that tower trying to go in and could not. It's late, so I guess I'll try this tomorrow.

So it looks like there's still a story marker in Tai Krung City somehow, which I thought I finished, but I can't get to where the chakra gate is because the Baz keeps telling me fraud detected as I'm wandering around the night club. I don't know how to get past him; he just warps me back to the front door, which is a LONG trek.

Ugh, okay, so it turned out that I still had yet to complete the Iron Kingdom. It really threw me off when it said that I had opened all three chakra gates earlier. At least that part is a bug. I can now progress again.

For what it's worth I've been reading your responses, and it really sucks that you wasted all that time backtracking and checking. As a gamer, I know I've been there, and it's a real bummer.
