EA did announce it, and it was all over the Place.
They removed it because Licenses ran out and they chose not to renew them. The Games actually ended up staying like a Month more than actually planned.
it was announced by EA in Beginning of September, noone realized untill Mid September though, The Game was supposed to be removed on the 3rd of Oct. and even stayed up for an additional 2 Months after that. The original EA Announcement is gone now for some Reason, but Fact is, they did announce it a long Time ago.
By the way, why EA use "www.trueachievements.com"to make announcement? doesn't they have a twitter or discord or something official?
There was a links to access official EA announcement about the "closure" but now is 404 error. Why is that happening?
Also, the link you sent here, is talking about "closure online services" and also highlight the main title of the article; "drop out of Xbox Game Pass & EA play" Why it is not explain why it being remove on the digital store?
I hope we discover the reason why it was delist, rather than news about "online achievements" is gonna remove.
EA had an proper Announcement that was talking about all 3 Topics, the Delisting, Removal from Gamepass, and alleged Server Shutdown. TA made a news article about it with the original Announcement talking about it, however, like i already said, and you then proceeded to ignore, EA has deleted their original Announcement.
Why? Maybe because only half of the Announcement was true and they didnt actually shut down the Servers, but fact is, its been known ~6 Months in Advance, as communicated by EA. Just nobody except Achievement Hunting Communities have picked up on that.
i agree, i sadly have no Grid 1 on steam such as Dirt 2.. (garanteed that i have the CD ROM somewhere); its a shame.
oh, that i am aware of. though, who in the right minds would actually pay something like that for a simple videogame.
