"Rare" liveries unlocks

So... I looked the internet to see how to unlock special liveries... only found some + some I found by myself.

Why dont we gather it into a topic?

So for those you cannot find in regular reseller or classified:

Those I found by myself:
- Fiat 131 Abarth: Winning Last Historic event
- R5 Fiesta "Puma" seen on loading screen: Winning Rally World Championship
- 2001 R. Burns Subaru: Rally U.S.A. championship (not sure of exact name)
- Peugeot 306: Sorry I dont remember... but in early Rally (since it's the first I had, and started with Rally only)
- Subaru WRX Sti: Have it too, but cannot remember either
- Landrush Truck (the big one): Landrush world champion

Found on the net, cannot confirm 100% working:
- 1995 Subaru McRae version: Winning triple crown

For the rest either I'm totally unlucky with classified or I didnt find rare liveries for Renault 5, Renault Alpine, Opel Ascona, Opel Kadett, Renault 205 GTI RX group B

But I'lm not 100% done on every cathegory

I have both but dont remember where exactly I got them, defenitly as a reward somewhere and not from classifieds though.

Can confirm; Prodrive Impreza R4 is unlocked midway through the Rally events in career mode.

My collection is almost done. The only cars I'm missing are the 2001 Focus, Opel Ascona, Audi Quattro E2, and a couple of RX Group B cars.

Yeah, I know. I did see one for sale when I was new to the game, but didn't have the free assets to buy it. Now I'm just waiting for it to re-appear.

The S1 E2 is always in its works livery. Just buy it whenever.
I've not personally seen one with all Grade B parts yet.

Were you running them in the N/R4 class? I believe I ran most in the Grp A or R5 cars.

I used the NR4 subaru in basicly every rally I could, so yeah :)

The '07 Focus Castrol livery is a team livery, so I don't believe it will ever show up in the Classifieds. Same with the Alpine K&N livery, Renault 5 Eibach livery, and a few others. Sadly this means there are several cars with no nice historical/real-world liveries.

But we can have all those liveries in our cars, in our Garage, just like if they were unlocked through Classifieds.

For the Focus '07 Castrol Livery:

Choose an Event where you can run with the Focus 07, like Euro Loose Rally.

In the interface where we can choose Difficulty, Vehicle or Start, hit Vehicle. Choose your Focus 07 and then choose the Castrol livery ( with the " More Options " option ). Hit Start (to start the Event). When you are in the Service Area, choose the option " Quit ". Make sure you choose "Quit" and not " Retire from event ". You will be back to the Main Menu.

Now hit Career, and you will be back to the start of Euro Loose Rally interface, but now you will have the options " Continue " and " Abandon ". Hit " Abandon " and voilá, your Focus 07 is sitting at your Garage with the Castrol Livery.

Do the same for all the other cars, like Renault 5 Turbo, Alpine, Ascona, etc, and even for the Gr. B RX cars.

Yep. If you change the livery for another one, you will need to do the steps i posted once again, to get the Castrol livery back to your car.

I forgot to mention, in my previous post, that once you put those rare / unique liveries into your cars, make sure the game saves, before you quit the game, or the livery / liveries will not get saved into your cars.
Ex: Put all the liveries, or the ones you want, in your cars, do some random stuff ingame for the game to save, and only then quit the game. If i'm right, looking / scrolling through Staff Members Offers makes the game to save so, no need to do an Event.

No need to enter event and loose reputation...
You can do as you say, just pick the "rental car" with the livery you want, validate, then back to car selection, take "your own car", it should be with the livery you choose, validate... then back to the menu... as long as you dont change livery it should stick with it...

BUT it's not the same as really unlocking it.. and feels like "cheating" (even if it doesnt provide any kind of advantage)

I would rather unlock all those liveries in Classifieds, or progressing through the game, like it should be.
It's very odd that we can't have all those nice liveries, in a " legit " way, in our cars.
Maibe they forgot to add them to Classifieds, or there's some bug...
