But i do agree with you, i only have 8 hours on record and i can tell if the track generator is adding the same bend in the same track. I feel Codies need to add more veriaty to there generator.
What made me sigh and facepalm over this game is the ai if there are cars on track. The othere cars just simply dont see you, thay may come off as agressive, but nope....the othere cars just simply cant see you.
Yep, thay should have stuck with Dirt rally, or just sepperated Dirt from Dirt Rally.
Not an excuse, they could have given more variety to the stage sections. But no games is perfect, I'm looking at the good, and having fun :)
On the Rally side I agree, dirt Rally tracks were more fun.. Greece hill climbs we're awesome, pikes peak hill climbs, monoco hairpins, Monaco hillclimb transition from pavement , ice, to snow, Germany tarmac gymkhana hairpins were awesome , Finland extreme jumps, Wales bidno moorland track was amazing.
But we can always go back and play Dirt Rally for these handmade tracks, and use dirt 4 for the everchanging tracks.. this is the first iteration..
I hope future iterations will allow more customization sliders like: hairpins qty, jumps qty, track width, hill climb stages with switchbacks...
I'm still happy though and I'm playing dirt 4 mostly at the moment.. but Dirt Rally will stay long term also for the unique Rally stage great replayability!
It's ok to say a game has flaws without claiming "it sucks", as if you didn't enjoy anything about it. Because the thing is, I agree with the issues you have, like the deja vu course generator. I'm hoping to see Codemasters improve all of this with a patch.
Same here, already have PCARS 2 pre-ordered, looks to be great, huge selection of all racing cars you could wish for and best track list, credible sim racers also say that the physics and handling of the GT cars are on par with Rfactor 2.
I do like the improved physics in this one compared to Dirt Rally Hovercraft physics, but the track generator NEEDS more tiles and the game itself also needs more environments.
