That gave me a good laugh.
Honestly, not many. Dirt Rally has more players according to steam charts. The multiplayer lobbies are half-dead even in Europe, the "competitive" mode is empty and the only reason you would want to buy Dirt 4 is for the singleplayer career. If you just like Rally and are not a die-hard fan, buy it. But if you've been watching rallying and playing rally games for years, then Dirt 4 has some really annoying features that you will find unbearable.
Considering the sale, I feel like they will release Clubs update (which is basically online racing leagues) and move on to their next game. That's what they always did.
Make a game > get money > make a new game > get money
Unfortunately for them that business strategy no longer works in 2017.
Thanks for sharing all information about the online! Well tbh I played dirt 3,showdown,colin mcrae rally but I passed dirt rally. So as a person who never touched the most realistic dirt game, I don't think I will find this game ''annoying''. I just bought the game and thank you for your advice and information again!
Alright then have fun!
But dam, this game is just crud. At first I spent an hour remaking my profile over and over due to the idiotic menu system. It's easy once you know it, but not an ounce of intuition. I mean, yeah I'm dumb alright but I've never wondered how to exit a game before.
Then the game itself with overloaded menus, no better than an average driving feel (I tried both gamer and sim).
It's a flashy mess. Keep the menus simple, and keep focus clear. That was the case with Dirt Rally. Saddly, D4 is flashy with lots of stuff, academy etc etc, but where is the focus? More is not always better. This looks and feels like a swift money grab with flashy extras so we don't give too much attention to the actual game play itself.
I am genuinly surprised how rubbish it is. (Especially after the difficult but great Dirt Rally)
The DiRT 4 Stages are ... *. I dont find any words about it. 6 times or more you see the same Curve in one Stage. And then... Yes... This totally * Menu System. Where the Hell has created this *? DiRT 4 is way more bad then Dirt Rally!
