DiRT 4

Is the original Dirt on Steam? (called "Colin McRae DiRT")
Just asking because I have all the others on Steam and I'd be interested in completing the collection if possible.

I hope it's not too late to reply, but to answer your question, yes. The original DiRT is on Steam and was available to purchase from it at some point (I recall recently that the only gameplay footage I have seen of it was through the Community Hub page for it), but considering that it came out in 2007 and Codemasters only seems to buy licensing usage for 5 years, the ability to purchase it probably died in 2012. So, now you will have to find key resellers or hope that codes that come with physical copies are redeemable on Steam.

Now that I think about it, it is 2018, so Dirt Rally might not be available to purchase 2 years from now.

Any further information you need on the game's PC version can probably be found here: https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Colin_McRae:_DiRT

Dirt 1 - 3 are no longer on steam and will never come back. They lack the licence for the cars and brands to sell the game. You may still find boxed versions on ebay or something.

They're on Xbox 360 too so you could get them there.

Rally uses no licensed music, afaik. Assuming that's what typically expires first, rather than any car licensing, as I don't see other older racers being barred from sale.

idk if this is still relevant but you can buy the codes for these games for steam on ebay. dirt 2 is the only one that's gonna cost you a little bit more than you're wanting to spend.

Colin McRae Rally (1998)
The first title in the series, was released for the PlayStation and Microsoft Windows platforms in January 1998 in the United Kingdom and United States.

Colin McRae: Dirt (2007)
Codemasters revealed that a new McRae game was in development for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It title is removed from steam store due to the license expired.

Colin McRae Rally (2013)
This version shares the same name of the 1998 release but the game's content and driving model are taken directly from the 2000 title Colin McRae Rally 2.0. This version was released on iOS in 2013 and ported to Windows, OS X and Android in 2014. It is a poor version and removed from steam store.
