Petition for Dirt 4 vr support, (oculus, vive and psvr)

What do you think about, set up a petition to encourage codmaster to add vr support in dirt 4 ?
Dirt rally in vr is absolutely awsome, it will be a total disappointment, if dirt 4 doesn't have a vr support..
A lot of people want vr support, so I think it's really interesting to inform codmaster.

If the engine already has the hooks it can't be that much extra work, especially given that Dirt Rally was such a masterpiece in VR and the VR market is aching for more high quality content to propel it to the the next level of adoption (which is inevitable and awesomely so)

The random stage generator in Codemasters’ latest rally game, Dirt 4, has aided Armstrong in his WRC preparation.

“I can now do championships with completely new stages every time,” said Armstrong.

“It forces me to listen and focus on the co-drivers pacenotes.”

“Stages can be rebuilt with different sections, a bit like Scalextric, adjusting the complexity and length as well as the technical level.”

Another way that Armstrong optimised the realism of his simulator was buying a VR headset. With VR he could feel as if he was sitting in his rally car and also forced him to use his peripheral vision when power-sliding through corners.

Now either he's been playing RBR, Dirt Rally and Dirt 4.. OR.. this guy has VR working in D4.

The whole article also tends to indicate that D4 (at least the R5 cars) drive like real rally cars as this guy is using it for practice for actual WRC2 and he's pretty damn good, at the real thing and D4. But that's for another thread (or 10), this one is about VR support ;-)

Ditto +1 for VR Support. Had the Vive for well over a year now and depressing as it might sound, i buy very few titles on the PC that dont support VR. For driving games especially its added so much to the experience I can't go back to normal 2D racing again! ^^

I already own this for the PS4 (because it was a cheap pre-order), and although I can play it with the PSVR on a big flat screen to fake some additional immersion, true VR support like DiRT Rally offers would be awesome.

Very odd and disappointing that it was omitted from this release, since it was in the previous one from the same franchise.

Then again, they didn't even make the leap to VR for F1 2017......lazy!!!!

I'd buy it in an instant for the PC if they offered either Oculus, Vive or OSVR support.

Until then, I'm gonna sit it out and just buy Project CARS 2 in 3 weeks, which has a Rally mode this time along with FULL VR support.

Can't wait!!!!!

After Dirt Rally in VR, it's impossible to play a racing games with a flat image. Therefore I will never buy this game if it never gets VR support.

I will never buy a single racing game that does not have VR support. Can undo experience driving in VR.
