G25 upgrade to G29?
Is there really a huge difference in performance in my G25 and a G29? Should I upgrade ? 🤔

No. Its the same wheel. You only get some rubber in your brakepedal. G25 to T300 is a more justified upgrade. Then just order a pedal adapter from Thrustmaster and perhaps GTeye springs and you are set.

The G29 is less noisy (better gears) and is overall much nicer

but you have to pay extra for the Gear lever and the gear lever doesn't have buttons.

i agree with IvySaur that Thrustmaster is a propper upgrade ... but also more expensive if i recall ..

Just buy the servo base and a wheel to you liking. Buy adapter or/and gteye springs. and you are happy. No need for T3pa or pro's cause they are crap. G25/G27 pedals with GTeye springs are better. Its under 350 euro or so.

I have a g25, a G27 and a T300RS. I like the G25 better than the gears on the G27, FFB feels better on the G25 IMO. It is my understanding that the G29 feels the same as a G27. That GTeye spring would probably help with your brake.
T300RS is a big upgrade over the Logitech wheels. I got mine for $300 US. Pedals work OK if mounted or you can get an adapter to use the G25/G27 pedals.

I had G27, G29 and now t300rs. Every step was an improvement. But i would never go back a step ^^ t300rs is just awesome, specially with the alcantra edition

G25 is better than G29. I have both and I went back to driving with the G25 and I'm at least half a second faster with the G25 on every track because the FFB is better.

Logitech DFGT: less than 2.5 Nm
Logitech G25: 2.5 Nm
Logitech G27: 2.3 Nm
Logitech G29: 2.1 Nm - not a retail release version of wheel
Logitech G920 2.2 Nm
Fanatech GT3 v2: 2.6 Nm
Thrustmaster Tx: 3.9 Nm
Thrustmaster T500: 4.4 Nm
Fanatec CSW v1: 4.8 Nm
Fanatec CSW v2: 7.1 Nm
